Jenai has almost perfect attendance for the entire school year which shows dedication towards her academics.  Jenai received an equivalent of Honor Roll for the fourth quarter of her third grade year in both reading and mathematics.  She showed improvement in all academics for the entire school year.  According to her teacher Mrs. Segotta, “ I am so happy that you were part of our class this year.”

Victoria Vanriele

Victoria has almost perfect attendance for the entire school year.  Victoria, like many of our other athletes, shows her dedication to her studies with her diligence in attending school.  Victoria has received Honor Roll with Distinction for the 2013-2014 school year.   According to her Social Studies teacher Mrs. Bokach, “Student is a pleasure to have in class.”

Myles Daniel

Myles has good attendance for the 2013-2014 school year. Myles uses the same focus and attention that he has in athletics in academics as well. Myles has received Honor Roll with Distinction. He also received the Principal’s Award for having all A’s for the entire school year. According to his English teacher, Ms. Travis, “He is an insightful young man who is a pleasure to have in class.”

Jason Sparrow

As a second grade student, Jason has achieved what is equivalent to Honor Roll for the 2013-2014 school year. According to his teachers, Jason has made good progress throughout the school year. His overall reading and mathematics have been in the high range throughout the school year. According to his teachers Ms. Rachel Padian and Ms. Lisa Marie Gabriel, “Jason is a sweet boy and we are happy to have had him in our classroom.”

Jada Mia Puryear

Jada Mia has achieved the equivalent to Honor Roll with Distinction in reading, and Honor Roll in mathematics during her 2013-2014 fourth grade year. Her overall reading and mathematics grades were in the progressing to exceeding range throughout the entire school year. Along with her academic excellence, she also received awards for her citizenship, achievement and the prestigious award for physical fitness from President Obama. According to Jada’s teacher Ms. Meagan McFadden, “Jada’s report card is a direct reflection of her work ethic and attitude in the classroom.” This is the same work ethic Jada’s brings to the track as well.

Aniyah Charles

Aniyah has been able to be successful this school year. She consistently produced grades that would put her on the Honor Roll. According to her report card, Aniyah has shown mastery in all grade level work in the math, social studies, science, and has exceeded expectations in English by the end of the year. She received the Exceptional Achievement Award for the school year. According to her teacher Mrs. Paust, “Aniyah worked diligently to improve and grow as a reader and writer.” This work effort is also seen in her continued improvement on the track.
